So here it is 2009 and we just returned from our trip to Hedonism III for our Anniversary.  As usual the senior staff of Hedonism III went out of their way to make us feel like we were home.  We always feel like we are being pampered and spoiled when we are at Hedo III. Jackie was treated to a two hour spa treatment (My gift this year) which she returned from both relaxed and rejuvenated.  The staff of “The Blue Mahoe Spa” were very professional and courteous treating Jackie like she was a queen.

As for activities Jackie and I decided on some different things to try this year since she has recovered from her surgery from last January.  This trip we tried an ATV (all terrain vehicles) ride up into the mountain area not far from St. Ann’s Bay area. We found it to be a great time. The people from “Chukka ATV Safari” were great, and made the ride both interesting and very safe. Once up the mountain we arrived in small village area, where the staff explained some island lore. We then returned down the mountain after some drinks to a private cove where we were treated to some cliff diving and allowed to try it ourselves. Hedonism III and Jamaica will always hold a special place in our hearts since Jackie and I were married there in 2007. You don’t have to take our words on it that once in Jamaica and Hedonism III for that matter you can’t wait to get back. The locals call it “Island Fever” and we believe in its power to change you. You feel sad to leave before you even walk off the resort grounds. You start planning your next trip on your flight home and every snow bank you look at has a palm tree rising out of it. If you don’t believe us then that is all the more reason to join us next year when we return. Then you too will feel Jamaica’s touch and yearn never to leave like we do each time. Until then as they say down there “Respect Mon!”
